　　Utterly confused by this season's look I wandered in search of the basics because despite the boring attire you can still team accesories to make them customised to the season whatever that is. Last season was dresses and floral attire and those awful dots and stripes... I was going nuts seeing those red polka dot glassons bags an entire army of females donning them. My nana liked the bag so I gave it to her. She wears it to go shopping for vegetables... She is now one of them!! (But I didnt mind it as much). They have those ugly green ones now. So my quest was in search of the following: A White Polar Fleece jacket, a rusty red or pine green fitted skivvy. I love my white polar fleece jacket and although many of you have seen me wear it since 2 years, it has faded and now I must lay it to rest along with my blue hoody. I tried to bring it back to life using the Frend Enzyme washing powder to make "Whites whiter and brighter" so I did the overnight soak and next morning there was a green patch on it. What I read the instructions again and it was fine. It said however never to let the product dry on the fabric. It so happened that the fabric with the unsightly green patch was floating above water. The garment still however did not gleam as I expected it to so I chucked it in the dryer for one last shot at "gleamdon". Alas my efforts were in vain, I think I might need to buy a new one. A shame though I really liked the style of it. I remember Kath who reckoned it was hot and decided to get one for herself. Im not normally a Glassons girl but I fell in love with the jacket when I saw it in the window 2 years ago. I had just started working and was very nervous about the $29.90 I was going to invest on it. But it was worth it. So today in the bid to finding a worthy replacement. I went to Glassons with the free hugs promotion of polar fleece jackets. Incidently the model is in my class. The style of those jackets were ok... but not good enough. I decided to look at the white style anyway. There was one on the manequinn but none in stock. Disappointment already. They didnt even stock the skivvys so I turned away. I ambled into Farmers Switch section to look for my green or red skivvys but they had gross colours such as brown and dog-shit-grey (A colour my dad had so joyously named for unsightly greys). JayJays, Pagani, HotLine, and Amazon were equally disappointing. Lippy I already had those types of jackets. I still emerged puzzled with how St Lukes Westfield deemed fashion mall now was so incompetent with simple fashion basics. I went to Supre yesterday and lo and behold I couldnt find anything interesting there either. I am also in persuit of just below the knee fashion boots in black with no heel and round toe with no extra trimmings. Boun has a beautiful pair from France and they were available for a brief time in NZ where I stupidly did not purchase because of my obsession with the perfect pair of jeans at the time as well as finding a pair with heels because they made me look taller. There was a pair I saw in Hot Line but I am Indian and cheap so if its iver $50 I wont spend. I look for bargains. I was also in persuit of the perfect pair of black jandals which I spotted yesterday but thankfully my friend opened my eyes to seeing that summer was finally over and that purchasing it would be quite silly. Please let me know if you spot any items of such fashion. I know I can probably find them at DRESSMART but I am using this as a last resort.
